When did ASUR begin trading on the stock markets?

On September 28th, 2000, ASUR carried out an IPO to sell 73.9% of its stock simultaneously on the NYSE and the BMV.
Additionally, on March 8th, 2005, a secondary share offer was carried out on the BMV for 11.1% of ASUR’s capital. As a result, 85% of the total equity of the company (the B Series shares) is on the stock markets.

In total, there are 255,000,000 B Series shares in circulation, on the stock markets of the United States (NYSE) and Mexico (BMV).
 

What is an ADR?
An ADR (American Depositary Receipt) is a negotiable certificate traded in the United States that corresponds to a shareholding in a foreign company.
ASUR ADRs correspond to 10 normal company shares, and are traded on the NYSE.

ITA (Inversiones y Técnicas Aeroportuarias) is ASUR’s biggest shareholder with 15% of the company’s stock (the BB Series shares).
