NEW PRE-BOARDING HEALTH PROCEDURES FOR PASSENGERS ANNOUNCED Cancún, Quintana Roo, April 30th, 2009.- In response to instructions issued by the authorities, health-check procedures have been established and must be followed by all passengers departing Cancún Airport. Passengers traveling to destinations within Mexico will be required to complete a form before boarding their flights. For all passengers flying to international destinations, the procedures consist of completing a form, having their body temperature measured and undergoing a medical check. All passengers are asked to arrive at the airport as far in advance of their flights as possible, in order to have sufficient time to complete these procedures before checking in. These measures are in addition to those that were adopted several days ago in domestic arrivals areas, whereby passengers complete a form and receive orientation from health authority personnel. All of these measures are being implemented with the support of staff from the Ministry of Communications and Transport, the health authorities and the Cancún Delegation of the Red Cross. As of today, Cancún Airport is operating normally and has a total of 276 takeoffs and landings programmed, of which 93 correspond to domestic flights and 183 to international flights. Only 6 flights have been canceled. ===== 0 ===== Top |
