WHAT IS SMS?

The Safety Management System (SMS) is a systematic approach to managing operational safety. It encompasses the organizational structure, accountability, lines of responsibility, policies, and procedures necessary to achieve and maintain safety objectives.

WHAT IS OPERATIONAL SAFETY?

Operational safety is the state in which the risk of injury to people or damage to property is reduced and controlled to an acceptable level, through a systematic and continuous process of hazard identification and risk management, within the framework of an SMS.

VOLUNTARY OPERATIONAL SAFETY REPORT FORM (SMS) - INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT VERACRUZ

This form is intended exclusively for the airport community of International Airport Veracruz. Reports must refer to operational safety situations occurring at this airport and will be treated confidentially, with the purpose of identifying hazards, managing risks, and strengthening the prevention of incidents and accidents, within the SMS framework.
